Embappé won the Golden Boot for a record fifth time in the French league
Paris. Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) striker Kylian Mbappe continued to dominate the French football league, winning the Golden Boot (award given to the top goalscorer in the competition) for a record fifth time. PSG’s team lost 3-2 to Clermont in this match but Mbappe scored a goal in it. With this, Mbappe ended his campaign in the French league with 29 goals. This is the fifth time he has scored the most goals in the league.

Mbappé equaled the records held by Frenchman Jean-Pierre Papin and Argentine strikers Carlos Bianchi and Delio Onis. PSG had already secured the title. He and second-place team Lens qualified for the next season’s group stage of the Champions League.
