BCCI’s annual contract list released, Jadeja-Pandya benefited, strictness was taken against KL Rahul
The Board of Control for Cricket in India has released the annual contract list of Indian team players for 2022-23. Many players have got promotion in this list. Many players have been promoted because of their performance. Star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja has been promoted to A+ grade. Apart from him, Jasprit Bumrah has been given a place in the A+ category. A+ grade players are paid Rs 7 crore annually by the BCCI. There are now a total of 26 players in the BCCI list.
Captain Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah were already in the A+ category, while with the arrival of Ravindra Jadeja, a total of four players have joined this category. All these players will be paid according to the A + category from October 2022 to September 2023. Apart from this, BCCI has also given place to five players in A category. The names of Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwani, Mohammed Shami, Rishabh Pant and Akshar Patel are included in this category. All A-category players are paid Rs 5 crore annually. BCCI has given place to a total of six players including Cheteshwar Pujara, KL Rahul, Shreyas Iyer, Mohammad Siraj, Suryakumar Yadav, Shubman Gill in B category. Players in this category get paid Rs 3 crore annually.
At the same time, 11 players have joined the C category of BCCI. Umesh Yadav, Shikhar Dhawan, Shardul Thakur, Ishaan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Yuzvendra Chahal, Kuldeep Yadav, Washington Sundar, Sanju Samson, Arshdeep Singh and KS Bharat have got a place in this. C category players get paid Rs 1 crore.

This time, where many players have got a place in the annual contract, many players have also been shown the way out. Fast bowler Ishant Sharma, batsman Ajinkya Rahane have not got a place now. Earlier both were included in B grade but now they have not got a place in the list. Wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha, fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar, middle order batsman Hanuma Vihari, opener Mayank Agarwal and all-rounder Deepak Chahar have also not been included in the contract.
