AFI awarded best member federation by Asian Athletics Federation

New Delhi. The Athletics Federation of India (AFI) was on Monday conferred with the Best Member Association award by the Asian Athletics Association (AAA) in Bangkok. AFI President Adille Sumariwalla received the award during a ceremony hosted by AAA. After receiving the award, AFI tweeted, “Great day for Indian athletics. AFI was today conferred with the Best Member Federation Award by the Asian Athletics Federation.

AFI President Adille Sumariwalla received the award. Sumariwalla is in Bangkok to attend the Asian Athletics Council meeting. The Indian team left for the five-day Asian Athletics Championships from Delhi and Bengaluru on Saturday night. The championship begins on Wednesday in Bangkok.
