According to the information, Sachin Tendulkar has taken strict action against fake advertisements, in which he has lodged an FIR for illegal use of his name, voice and pictures. In this FIR, Sachin said that it is not right to use name, photo etc. by unknown people. Many people misuse it and use it for cheating. He has lodged an FIR on this matter in the cyber cell of Mumbai. According to the information, unknown people had used these for the promotion of medicinal products, after which now an FIR has been lodged against unknown people.

 

An official gave this information on Friday. The official said that an aide of Tendulkar lodged a complaint in this regard with the West Zone Cyber ​​Police Station on Thursday. The complainant said that he came across an online advertisement of a pharmaceutical company, which claimed that Tendulkar was endorsing its product. He was also informed about a website ‘sachinhealth.in’ which was promoting these products by falsely using Tendulkar’s picture.

 

The complaint states that since Tendulkar had never given permission to the company to use his name and photographs and was tarnishing his image, he directed his associate to take legal action. The official said an FIR was registered against unknown persons under sections 420 (cheating), 465 (forgery) and 500 (defamation) of the Indian Penal Code, besides the Information Technology Act. Further investigation is on in the matter.
