Breaking Tendulkar’s record will be an emotional moment for me: Kohli

Former India skipper Virat Kohli has admitted that breaking Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI centuries would be a “really emotional moment” for him. Tendulkar ended his career with 49 centuries in ODIs. It was the 100th (51 centuries in Tests) century at international level. At that time, sports experts believed that hardly anyone could break Tendulkar’s record. Kohli, however, has scored 46 centuries in 274 ODIs. The 34-year-old batsman will look to match his childhood idol with three more hundreds.

When Kohli was asked about reaching this milestone, he was quick to say, “It will be a very emotional moment for me.” Also sports apparel and accessories company Puma has teamed up with ‘Disney Plus Hotster’ to create a six-part documentary series. It covers the aspects related to fitness along with the life journey of these players.
