‘Kantara’ breaks the record of earning of ‘KGF’, reaches a profit of more than 1462% at the box office

The film has been released worldwide in two installments. Its Kannada version hit the theaters on 30 September, while its other three versions in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi were released on the big screen on 14 October 2022. The tsunami of Kannada film ‘Kantara’ earning at the box office is not taking its name to stop. The film broke the record of Yash starrer ‘Kgf Chapter 1’ at the box office to become the second highest-grossing Kannada film. According to the reports of a trade taker website, Rishabh Shetty starrer ‘Kantara’ has collected around Rs 250 crore at the worldwide box office in 28 days. While the worldwide collection of ‘Kgf Chapter 1’ was around Rs 238 crores.

‘Kantara’ heavy on ‘KGF’ everywhere

The ‘Kantara’ Domestic Collection, Overseas Collection and Worldwide Collection outperformed ‘KGF Chapter 1’ in every respect. If we talk about the domestic box office, then ‘Kantara’ has collected around Rs 234 crores, while the collection of ‘Kgf Chapter 1’ here was around Rs 228 crores. ‘Kantara’ has earned around Rs 16 crore in overseas, while the collection of ‘Qgf Chapter 1’ was around Rs 10 crore overseas.

Rishabh Shetty’s one man show ‘Kantara’

The story of ‘Kantara’ is written by Rishabh Shetty. He is its director and he is the lead hero. Made under the banner of Vijay Kirgandur’s Hombale Films, the film was released in cinemas on 30 September. Stars like Kishore, Achyut Jumar, Pramod Shetty, Prakash Thuminad, Naveen D. Patil also have important roles in the film.
