Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister congratulates Jyothi on winning the Asian Athletics Championship

Amravati. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday congratulated Jyoti Yaraji who won the gold medal in women’s 100m hurdles at the 25th Asian Athletics Championships in Bangkok. The Chief Minister said that Jyoti Yaraji had made everyone proud with her performance.

Reddy tweeted, “I congratulate and wish our athlete Jyoti Yaraji from Vizag who won the gold medal in the 25th Asian Athletics Championship held in Thailand. The 23-year-old Jyoti clocked 13.09 seconds to leave behind two Japanese runners Terada Asuka (13.13) and Aoki Masumi (13.26) in Thursday’s final.
