But in the bidding, RCB won the bet and bought it for Rs 3.40 crore ($410,000), beating Mumbai.

According to the information, the auction process for the first season is over. During this, five teams bid on a total of 87 players. Teams had to bid on a total of 90 players. The most expensive player in this auction was Smriti Mandhana, who was bought by RCB.

Mumbai Indians have bought England’s Nat Sciver Brunt for more than three crores. Nate Sciver Brunt was bought for the highest amount of Rs 3.20 crore. The country’s second highest selling player is all-rounder Deepti Sharma, who was bought by UP Warriors for Rs 2.6 crore. Young Shafali Verma, known for her fast batting, and Jemimah Rodrigues, who was the star of the World T20 match against Pakistan on Sunday, were bought by Delhi Capitals for Rs 2 and 2.20 crore respectively.

All-rounders Pooja Vastrakar (Mumbai Indians) and Richa Ghosh (RCB) also got Rs 1.90 crore each. Jemima and Richa benefited greatly from their win against Pakistan on Sunday. UP Warriors spent Rs 1.80 crore to buy England left-arm spinner Sophie Ecclestone. Five of these potential captains are Mandhana (RCB), Harmanpreet (Mumbai Indians), Lanning (Delhi Capitals), Beth Mooney (Gujarat Giants) and Deepti Sharma (UP Warriors). Sri Lankan captain Chamari Atapattu and South African batswoman Laura Wolvaardt are the other big names that went unsold. Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal was very happy with the players picked for his team during the auction and said that his plan was not to pick star players but to build a good team.
