New Delhi: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife attacked him at alleged gunpoint on Monday, January 3, 2022. In 2015, cricketer-turned-politician Reham Khan claimed that her car was fired upon and her vehicle was kept ‘at gunpoint’. On Twitter, he said that on my way back from my nephew’s wedding, my car was shot and two men on a motorcycle at gunpoint!! I had just changed vehicles. My PS and driver were in the car. In a follow-up tweet this morning, Reham, a political activist, alleged that an FIR has still not been registered at the Shams Colony police station in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. Since getting divorced in 2015, the 48-year-old Imran Khan’s wife is often seen publicly criticizing her ex-husband and often criticized for his style of governance.

Meanwhile, a recent survey has found that 55% of Pakistanis have declared the performance of the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government as equal, 13% more than 32%. It has found it as per its expectations. The survey conducted by Ipsos showed that 46 per cent of the disappointed people said that they had voted for PTI in the 2018 elections. People said that even the provincial governments and opposition parties did not live up to their expectations during the last three years.
