Vaccine companies started preparations
New Delhi. Vaccine makers have started preparations after getting a new variant of the corona virus. Companies are assessing the effect of their existing vaccines on this and are also preparing to make new cocktail doses or booster doses. As concerns mount over the new variant, AstraZeneca said on Friday it is investigating the effects of its vaccine and antibody cocktail on the new variant, Omicron, found in South Africa. He expressed hope that the combination drug would be effective on this variant.

On the other hand, American pharmaceutical company Moderna said on Friday that it will prepare a booster dose against the new variant of Corona, Omicron. Moderna said the company is working to address the new threat and will make its existing vaccine more effective against the new variant. Moderna CEO Stefan Bansel said the new variant remains a cause for concern. We are engaged in preparing our strategy against this.
