According to the Indian Express report, in this case of January 14, alleging love jihad, members of Bajrang Dal also beat up Asif Sheikh, who runs an electronics shop, while deboarding the train. While the woman is a teacher in a private school.

According to the GRP, no offense was registered against the Bajrang Dal members as there was no complainant. GRP Superintendent of Police Nivedita Gupta said Sheikh and the woman were family friends and had known each other for years.

A video of the incident had gone viral on social media in which three men, claiming to be members of the Bajrand Dal, were dragging Sheikh out of the coach of the train while the woman was following them.

At the same time, in a video of the police station, the woman was shouting at the people of Bajrang Dal and saying that one mistake of yours can ruin my life. I am an adult and a teacher in school, I teach children.
