The actress, who hails from Manali, said that it would be a matter of pride for her if she gets a chance to work for the betterment of the people of her home state. He said, “Whatever the situation… If the government wants my participation, I am fully prepared for any kind of participation. It will be my honor if the people of Himachal Pradesh give me a chance to serve them. Surely it will be my good fortune.”
The actress said these things in the Panchayat Aaj Tak Himachal Pradesh program in Shimla ahead of the assembly elections in the state on November 12. Earlier this month, Kangana had said that she has no plans to enter politics professionally as she wants to focus on her film career.
On the work front, Kangana was recently seen in the film Dhakad. The film proved to be a flop at the box office. At the same time, she is busy shooting for the film Emergency. This film will be released next year i.e. in 2023.
