Whatever happened in WTC Final, now know when and against whom Team India will play in their upcoming matches.

Team India once again failed in the ICC finals and the wait to win the trophy is getting longer. India last won an ICC trophy in 2013 under MS Dhoni at the Champions Trophy and since then the team has not been able to lift the trophy despite making it to the semi-finals and finals on several occasions. On Sunday, Rohit Sharma-led Team India lost to Australia by 209 runs in the WTC final. Due to this, India’s dream of winning the ICC trophy once again was shattered.

Meanwhile, international cricket and the first series to begin is the Ashes between Australia and England in the new WTC cycle that will run until 2025. Also, preparations for the ODI World Cup, which is to be played in India in October- November this year, begin. Team India players can get some rest. There is a high possibility of postponement or cancellation of the proposed ODI series against Afghanistan. But there is no official news about it but if it happens, then the Indian team will not play any cricket for a month for the first time in so many years.

India will next tour West Indies for 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is. After the West Indies tour, India will tour Ireland for a three-match T20I series, while the Asia Cup is scheduled to be played in September. India will host the ODI World Cup in October-November and before that the team will take on Australia in a three-match home series. After the mega event, the Men in Blue will play a five-match T20I series against Australia at home before traveling to South Africa for the entire series.
