14th Jaipur International Film Festival-JIFF 2022, 7-11 January 2022 to be held in Jaipur

List of films to be awarded at the fourteenth GIF festival released

Jaipur. The organizers of the fourteenth Jaipur International Film Festival on Saturday, the first day of the new year, released the list of films to be awarded at the festival. A total of 127 films will be awarded in 14 different categories as part of the ceremony. With this, the Jaipur International Film Festival has become the first film festival in the world, in which the list of films awarded before the festival has been released. All these films will be awarded on the day of the opening ceremony to be held at Maharana Pratap Auditorium from 4.30 pm on 7th January. Hanu Rose, founder ~ director of JIF, said that by doing this, film lovers will get the option to watch the best movies and people will be able to enjoy the movies according to their choice.

These films of Rajasthan got the award

Best Short Fiction Film: Washing Machine directed by Anand Singh Choudhary, Lathi directed by Gajendra Srotri, The Makeup Artist directed by Raghav G Tiwari.

Special Jury Mention Short Fiction Film Award: ‘The Last Call’ directed by RJ Mohit, Best Song Award: ‘Roshaniya’ directed by Gaurav Bhatt, Special Jury Mention Award for Song: ‘Holding Me Back’ directed by Tanmay Singh and Best Feature Fiction Award: Aditya ‘A Nomad River’ directed by Patwardhan, Veerangana directed by Sanjay Nirvana and ‘Aata’ directed by Hemant Sirvi will be given.

Awarded films to be screened in INOX

The screening of films will continue from 10 am to 10 pm at Inox, GT Central. Out of the total 108 films shown here, 97 films will be those which are being rewarded this time. On January 8, 31 films from 10 countries, 23 from 13 countries on January 9, 32 from 15 countries on January 10 and 22 films from 8 countries on January 11 will be screened here.

52 Countries 279 Screening of films will be done on hybrid mode

JIF spokesperson Rajendra Boda said that 279 films from 52 countries will be screened on hybrid mode in this festival.

This will be the schedule of screening of films online

On January 8, 70 films from 26 countries, 68 from 24 countries on January 9, 66 from 21 countries on January 10 and 69 films from 22 countries on January 11 will be screened online. Movies scheduled online will be live for 24 hours i.e. 12 nights of the next day which can be viewed on JIF website.
