AFTER “PATRÕES FORA”, THE ACTRESS WILL HAVE TO TALK ABOUT A NEW SIC PROJECT

Sofia Arruda will have a new SIC project. After the success of "Patrões Fora", the actress will be part of the cast of the soap opera "Amor, Amor".

Sofia Arruda arrived at SIC to stay. The actress debuted in fiction on the Paço de Arcos station in 2017, in the soap opera “Amor Maior” , and, after a short return to TVI to play Teresa in “Jogo Duplo”, she returned to the rival channel to join the cast of “Outside Bosses” . Now, he dedicates himself to “Amor Amor”.

According to a weekly publication, Sofia Arruda will give life to Mónica in the second season of the plot, starring  Joana Santos  and  Ricardo Pereira. The recordings have already started and the actress promises to be something to talk about, giving life to an ambitious woman, according to TeleNovelas. Your character will work at the Honeymoon publishing house.

By reinforcing the cast of “Amor Amor”, Sofia Arruda is thus coming back to cross paths with  Tiago Aldeia. The actor is another of the names that join SIC’s soap opera, he who, like his friend, transitions from “Patrões Fora” to this project.

With regard to the comedy series, starring  João Baião, the summer season has its premiere date set. Daniel Oliveira , the Director General of Entertainment at Impresa , decided to start airing new episodes of the sitcom as of next Saturday. This new batch of chapters is marked by two major absences:  Maria João Abreu ,  who died on May 13th, following the rupture of an aneurysm , and  José Raposo , who agreed with SIC to withdraw from the project.

In addition to those already mentioned, Carlos Areia, Natalina José  and  Noémia Costa are part of “Patrões Fora”  . Luís Aleluia  and  Joana França , who had already made special guest appearances in the previous season, are now part of the sitcom’s regular cast.
