Ambati Rayudu was going to play in this league after IPL, now refused to play, fans got shocked

The Indian Premier League is organized every year in India under the leadership of the Board of Control for Cricket in India. Apart from Indian players, many foreign players can also participate in this league. Similar to the Indian Premier League, various leagues are organized in many countries around the world.

Players from all over the country and the world participate in these leagues. However, Indian players will no longer be allowed to participate in these leagues. Earlier, Indian players could participate in foreign leagues, but now the BCCI has changed the rules, which has given a blow to the retired players.

Due to this new rule, now former India batsman and Ambati Rayudu, who played for Chennai Super Kings in IPL, has also decided to withdraw from America’s cricket tournament Major League Cricket (MLC). He has given personal reasons for not participating in this tournament. However, there is a possibility that the BCCI rules may be the reason behind this, in which a change was made a day earlier, which happened on July 7.

Let us tell you that Ambati Rayudu had signed a contract with Texas Super Kings, the franchise of Chennai Super Kings, after retiring from the Indian Premier League in June this year itself. This league is to be played in America from 13 July to 30 July. The special thing is that Ambati Rayudu took this important decision at a time when the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) is considering arranging a ‘cooling off period’ to prevent pre-determined retirement of Indian players. Active players of India cannot play in foreign leagues but after retirement they can play in these.

League’s statement came after Ambati’s withdrawal
Now a special statement has also come after Ambati Rayudu has withdrawn his name from this American League. Texas Super Kings said in a statement, “Ambati Rayudu will not be available to participate in the first season of MLC on behalf of Texas Super Kings due to personal reasons.” Major League Cricket will be played in the US from July 13 to July 30. IPL franchises like Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians have also bought teams in MLC.
