Twitter’s March quarter revenue rises to $1.2 billion, daily users up 16 percent
San Francisco| Social media company Twitter’s March quarter profit was $513 million. Just a few days ago, billionaire businessman Elon Musk made a deal to buy Twitter.
Twitter on Thursday said its revenue grew 16 percent to $1.2 billion between January and March. Its number of users also increased by 16 percent in the reporting period compared to the previous year.
Its daily average number of active users is 229 million. Musk has signed a deal to acquire Twitter for about $44 billion, which was announced earlier this week.
