Badminton champion Saina Nehwal visited the holy cave of Amarnath, said- I feel very lucky

Ace badminton player Saina Nehwal offered prayers at the holy Amarnath cave and had ‘darshan’ of the naturally formed ice linga at the cave temple through the shortest Baltal passage in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

 

Saina Nehwal said that we had very good darshan of Amarnath ji. I feel very fortunate to be able to have darshan with my mother. She said that I want to thank the Amarnath Shrine Board and the army people who helped us there… I am very satisfied. Along with this he said that when you come to such a place where you get positivity and strength, and the mind is calm. The confidence feels great… The experience was very comfortable.

 

A total of 1,46,508 pilgrims have visited the Amarnath shrine since July 1. The 62-day annual pilgrimage to the 3,888-metre-high cave temple in the Himalayan region began on July 1 and will continue till August 31. Another batch of over 9,200 pilgrims left the base camp here on Thursday for the Amarnath shrine located in the Himalayan region of south Kashmir. The officers provided this information. A convoy of 194 vehicles carrying 6,035 pilgrims left for Pahalgam while another 112 vehicles carrying 3,206 pilgrims left for Baltal base camp amid tight security at 3.30 am on Thursday, officials said.
