Health Department’s Additional Chief Secretary Pratyaya Amrit told in an online press conference here on Wednesday that the cases of corona infection are spreading very fast in the state. In the last twenty four hours, 1659 new cases of infection have been reported. Due to this, the number of active cases of corona in the state has increased to 3881, but out of these, only 63 infected have needed to be hospitalized. In this way, 98 percent of the total infected are in home isolation.
Medicines will be available on time even in home isolation
Amrit said that these figures show that people need not panic. The government is making arrangements for proper treatment of the infected living in home isolation. Under this, kits of medicines will be sent through post to the homes of such infected people from tomorrow. He has appealed to the people to enter their phone number and correct address during the investigation.

The Additional Chief Secretary said that for this, the medicine would be given to the postal department in the name of the infected person, which would be delivered to his home through the concerned post office. The entire packet of medicine is being prepared in the health department. The packet is being prepared in such a way that it reaches the house of the infected safely from the postal department. He said that the Health Department is preparing a monitoring system for the delivery of medicines to monitoring.
