Good news about ICC World Cup 2023, full schedule will be released on this date

There is more than three months left for the much-awaited ODI World Cup to begin in October. Cricket lovers are waiting for this vigorous tournament to be held in India. But the schedule has not been revealed till now. While the fans are excited about the tournament, they are also eagerly waiting for the official schedule to be revealed. The draft schedule was released earlier and reportedly the official schedule will be released next week.

Schedule will be announced on June 27

According to media reports, sources say thatWill reveal the schedule of the tournament at an event in Mumbai on Tuesday, June 27. The program will be held at 11:30 am. Also, on June 27, there will be 100 days left for the tournament to begin in October. Notably, a draft schedule was sent by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to the ICC, which in turn sent it to the other participating nations earlier this month. According to the information, the ICC has issued an official media invite, in which the media has been invited for the announcement ceremony, giving information about the date and time.

what was the draft schedule

As per the draft schedule, the opening match of the tournament will be played between the finalists of the 2019 edition – New Zealand and England on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Indian team will open its campaign in the ODI World Cup against Australia on October 8 in Chennai, followed by a match against Pakistan a week later in Ahmedabad. Both the semi-finals will be held in Mumbai and Chennai. The final will also be played on November 19 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, Guwahati, Pune, Lucknow and Dharamshala are among the 11 cities that have been selected to host the World Cup. Hosts India will play their league matches in nine cities including Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi and Bengaluru. The match with Pakistan will be on October 15. Whereas Pakistan’s league matches will be held in five cities.
