The first Test match of the Border Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia is being played in Nagpur. In this Test match, the Indian team has reached the verge of victory. Australia lost seven wickets for 74 runs in the second innings. In this match, Mohammed Shami showed a strong game in the first innings. Mohammed Shami played a quickfire inning of 37 runs in 47 balls.

 

Mohammed Shami played brilliantly in his partnership with Akshar Patel. This innings of Mohammed Shami has now come into the limelight as he has broken many records in this innings. Shami hit three sixes and two fours in his innings of just 37 runs. Thanks to his blistering innings, Mohammed Shami has overtaken veterans like Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli in terms of hitting maximum sixes in Tests.

 

Please tell that Indian team coach Rahul Dravid is the player who has scored more than 13 thousand runs in Test cricket. A total of 22 sixes have come out of his bat. Whereas Virat Kohli has hit 24 sixes in Tests. But in the Nagpur Test, Mohammad Shami hit three sixes and has done a feat of hitting a total of 25 sixes, leaving behind Rahul Dravid and Virat Kohli. Not only this, Mohammed Shami is ahead of many veteran players in terms of hitting sixes. Shami has gone ahead of strong players like Cheteshwar Pujara, Mohammad Azharuddin, VVS Laxman and KL Rahul in terms of hitting sixes.

 

Virender Sehwag is the player who has hit the most sixes in Test cricket for India. The explosive batsman has hit a total of 91 sixes in 180 innings of 104 Test matches. After him comes the name of Captain Cool Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Dhoni has hit a total of 78 sixes in his career. On the other hand, master blaster Sachin Tendulkar is at number three in the list of most sixes in Test cricket for India, who has hit a total of 69 sixes.

 

Cheteshwar Pujara has scored more than 7000 runs in Test cricket for India. Cheteshwar Pujara has hit just 15 sixes in his Test career. Mohammad Azharuddin has scored six thousand runs in Test cricket and he has hit only 19 sixes in his innings. On the other hand, veteran player VVS Laxman has scored more than eight thousand runs in Test cricket but he has hit only five sixes.
