IPL 2023: KKR’s big win, beat RCB by 81 runs in a one-sided match

Today the ninth match of IPL 2023 was played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. Batting first, the Kolkata Knight Riders team scored 204 runs losing 7 wickets and gave Bengaluru a challenging target of 205 runs to win. The Bangalore team could only manage 123 runs in 17.4 overs. Kolkata has won this match by 81 runs. However, Bengaluru got off to a great start chasing the big target. Captain Shope Duplesey and Virat Kohli gave a blistering start. Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) beat Shardul Thakur (68 runs) after Rahmanullah Gurbaz (57 runs) and his 103-run partnership for the sixth wicket with Rinku Singh (46 runs). Against RCB) scored a mammoth score of 204 for seven wickets. KKR’s score was 89 for five in the 12th over, after which Thakur and Rinku brought the team close to 200 runs by sharing a century partnership for the sixth wicket in 47 balls.
