IPL Schedule: IPL will start from March 31, first match between Chennai-Gujarat, see schedule

Big news is coming out regarding the Indian Premier League 2023. The schedule of IPL 2023 has been released by the BCCI. According to the released schedule, the IPL will start on 31 March. This time the IPL will run for 52 days in which a total of 70 league matches will be played. Group stage matches will be held till May 21. And the final match will be played on May 28. Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings will be face to face in the first match of IPL. IPL 2022 winners Gujarat Titans will once again be led by Hardik Pandya. At the same time, Mahendra Singh Dhoni will be seen leading the Chennai Super Kings.

The opening match of the IPL will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Double header matches will be seen during IPL. The evening matches will start at 7:30 pm while the afternoon matches will be played at 3:30 pm. All the teams will have to play 14-14 matches this time also. Each team will play 7 matches at their home ground while seven matches will be played at the home of the opposition team. Last year’s runner-up team Rajasthan will have to play their first match on 2 April. Punjab and Kolkata will be face to face on 1st April. At the same time, the match between Lucknow and Delhi will be played on 1 April. Hyderabad and Rajasthan will be face to face on 2nd April, while on 2nd only Royal Challengers and Mumbai Indians will also have a big fight.

Regarding IPL 2023, two groups have been made. Group A consists of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Supergiants. Talking about Group B, it has Chennai Super Kings, Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Titans. This time IPL matches will be played at a total of 12 venues. Guwahati and Dharamsala will host IPL matches for the first time. Apart from this, IPL matches will be played in Ahmedabad, Mohali, Lucknow, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Delhi, Kolkata, Jaipur, Mumbai.
