It is difficult for Warner to play in the Delhi Test match between IndvsAus, this player can be included in the team

Sydney. Australia, recovering from a crushing defeat against India in the first Test of the series in Nagpur, are likely to replace David Warner with off-spin all-rounder Travis Head in the second match starting February 17 in New Delhi. Australian media claimed this on Sunday. Australia’s ambitions to lift the Border-Gavaskar Trophy suffered a major blow on Saturday after being hammered by an innings and 132 runs inside three days in the Nagpur Test.

Veteran opener Warner’s poor form continued in the subcontinent as he was dismissed for another 10 runs in two innings. Australia’s team was dismissed for just 91 runs in the second innings, which is their lowest score in India. According to Australian media reports, “sources close to the Australian team confirmed that discussions have been ongoing since Warner’s double failure in the first Test.”

The report further states that left-arm finger spinner Matt Kuhneman will have a ‘chance’ to make his Test debut in New Delhi. He has been called to India as a replacement for reserve leg-spinner Mitch Swepson. Swepson is returning home for the birth of their child.
