Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma heaped praise on Yashasvi Jaiswal, saying that he was in awe of the power of the young batsman’s strokes. The 21-year-old, who plays for Rajasthan Royals, scored 124 off 62 balls, including 16 fours and eight sixes, against Mumbai on Sunday. Rohit said after the match, “I saw him play last year and this year he has taken his game to the next level. I asked him from where he gets such strength. He said that he goes to the gym.

This performance of his is good for him, for Indian cricket and for Rajasthan Royals. Jaiswal was adjudged player of the match for his brilliant innings.
