Jofra Archer ready for busy schedule ahead

England fast bowler Jofra Archer is set to return to the field in the year 2023, after being out for a long time due to elbow and lower back injuries. Announcing his return on Twitter, Archer said, “Thank you 2022, I am ready for 2023.” I could not play.

Five-time IPL champions Mumbai can now look forward to forming a dangerous pairing with Jasprit Bumrah. Mumbai Indians have also signed Archer for their franchise Cape Town in the South African League. Archer, who took the most wickets for England in the ODI World Cup 2019, played his last international match in March 2021. After getting fit, Archer practiced with the Test team in Abu Dhabi in November. After playing in the South African League in January, he will feature in England’s ODI series against South Africa starting January 27. He may go to Bangladesh for a limited overs series before playing in the IPL.
