Khelo India Youth Games will start from today, know here the complete details about the tournament

The ‘Khelo India Youth Games’ is going to be organized in Madhya Pradesh from January 30. This is the first time that Madhya Pradesh is going to host the ‘Khelo India Youth Games’. The Khelo India Youth Games will be formally inaugurated at 7 pm. Many dignitaries including Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Madhya Pradesh Sports Minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia will be present at the inauguration ceremony of this programme.

 

This year 27 types of sports will be organized in Khelo India Youth Games. This tournament, which lasts for a total of 13 days, is to be organized in nine cities of Madhya Pradesh. Apart from Bhopal, games will also be held in Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Mandla, Balaghat and Khargone. 6000 players will participate in this tournament. This tournament has been organized in many cities like Delhi, Pune, Guwahati. 470 players from Madhya Pradesh will participate in the tournament.

 

In the tournament, athletics matches will be played at TT Nagar Stadium in Bhopal. In these matches, 26 players from Madhya Pradesh will also participate and fight for medals. Athletics will be held between February 3-5. After this, wrestling matches will also be held at DSY W Hall from February 7-11. A total of 21 players will participate in the wrestling matches.

 

After this, boxing matches will be held in Bhopal from January 31 to February 4. A total of 20 female and male players will play in boxing. At the same time, matches will be played at the Shooting Academy from February 1-6. There will also be two matches of water sports which will be organized at the Sports Academy located at Bade Talab.

 

Kayaking Canoeing will be held from February 1-3, Rowing will be held from February 7-9. The volleyball matches will be organized at the Sai Indoor Stadium in Bhopal from January 30 to February 3. Judo competitions will also be held here from February 7-10.

 

Khelo India Youth Games will be played in Indore from January 31. Basketball matches will be held in Indore from January 31 to February 4. It will be organized in Indore’s basketball complex. While the weightlifting competition will be held from February 6-10. Bananas are also to be played from January 30 against table tennis, which will be till February 3.

 

Kabaddi matches will be held in Abhay Prashal which will be played from February 5-9. Football matches will be held at Emerald Heights International School, Indore from February 1-10. Tennis matches are also to be held at the Tennis Club of Indore.

 

Competitions for Badminton, Hockey, Gymnastics and Kalaripavattu are to be played in Gwalior. Matches will be played here from January 31 to February 3. Hockey matches will be organized at the Hockey Academy from February 4-10. The gymnastics competitions will be held from February 1-5. The Kalaripavattu matches will be held from February 8-10.

 

Yoga and Malkhamb competitions will be organized at Madhav Seva Nyas in Ujjain from February 1-10.

 

Khokho, archery, fencing and Ranital competitions will be played in Jabalpur from January 30 to February 10. There will also be cycling competitions during this time.

 

Dhangta and Gatka will be organized in Mandla from February 2-10.
