Brazil and USA have four points each from matches against Morocco and India respectively.
Who tops Group A will be known on Monday when India take on Brazil and America take on Morocco. On Tuesday, India lost 0-8 to the United States on the opening day while Brazil beat Morocco 1-0. The match between Brazil and the United States was a close match, in which America dominated the ball and scored more shots in the opponent’s goal. ‘Concacaf’ champion America made 19 shots while South American champion Brazil made 15 shots.
African champions Nigeria beat New Zealand 4-0 in a group match in Margao. Goals were scored for him in Amina Belo (16th), Mirakal Usani (34th), Taiwo Afolabi (75th) and Ididiong Etim (90+5th). It was the second defeat in the tournament for New Zealand, who lost to Chile 1-3 on Tuesday. Nigeria also suffered a 1-2 loss to Germany in the opening match.
