Novak Djokovic congratulates Iga Swiatek on winning the French Open 2023 women’s title

Serbian tennis star Novak Djokovic has congratulated Iga Swiatek on winning her fourth Grand Slam title. Poland’s Inga Swiatek continued her dominance on the clay of Paris with this win. Iga defeated Carolina Muchova of Czech Republic 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 in the final of French Open.

Novak Djokovic, who created history by winning the Grand Slam 23 times after winning Iga’s match, has also congratulated Iga. Swiatek won the first set easily and took a 3-0 lead in the second set as well, but Muchova did not give up on the match despite the back-to-back defeats and continued to fight for the win. This resulted in Swiatek being twice down a break in the third set, but was able to recover and eventually won in three sets. By defeating Muchova, Swiatek won in her Grand Slam final for the fourth time.
