PT Usha was born on 27 June 1964 in Payyoli village of Kozhikode district, Kerala. The full name of PT Usha is Pilavullakandi Thekkeparambil Usha. He has also faced financial hardship in his childhood. PT Usha started running from a young age. When she was in class 4, she participated in the district champion competition. During this, he had defeated the district champion studying in his own school. After this PT Usha had participated in many district level competitions.
