RCB’s Will Jacques out of IPL 2023 due to injury

England batsman Will Jack has been ruled out of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) after sustaining an injury during the limited-overs series in Bangladesh. The 24-year-old Jaques was picked up by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL auction in December for Rs 3.2 crore. He suffered a hamstring injury while fielding in England’s second ODI against Bangladesh in Mirpur earlier this month, reported ESPNcricinfo.

He said, “Earlier this week, he had to withdraw from the upcoming season of IPL after the scan (test) and advice from experts.” According to this report, RCB is going to replace Jack with Michael Bracewell of New Zealand. is trying Bracewell had entered the IPL auction with a base amount of Rs 1 crore but his name was not bid by any team. RCB team will start their campaign against Mumbai Indians on 2nd April.
