Smriti Mandhana of RCB in WPL Auction 2023, star player bid in crores

The process of auctioning players for the Women’s Premier League has begun in Mumbai. The costliest player at the end of the first set auction was Indian opener and vice-captain Smriti Mandhana.
 
Smriti Mandhana, who entered the auction at a base price of just Rs 50 lakhs, was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore for Rs 3.40 crores.
