Kidambi Srikanth beats Jonathan Christie in straight games in the final of the Highlow Open
India’s star badminton player Kidambi Srikanth defeated world number 7 Jonathan Christie in straight games to enter the finals of the Highlo Open Super 300 badminton tournament. The world No. 11 Indian won his last title in 2017, but this time he made a strong move to become the champion by defeating the Indonesian 21-13 21-19 in 39 minutes.

With this win, Srikanth’s record against Christie’s has gone up to 6-5. Srikanth, who created history by winning a silver medal at the World Championships last year, will next take on world No. 6 Anthony Sinisuka Ginting. Anthony is currently leading 3-2 in the mutual record between these two players.
