Taking serious note of the issue of expired medicine in the Chief Minister’s Corona Relief Kit given to home-isolated patients, the Ranchi district administration said that necessary action would be taken against the culprits. Strict action will be taken against the person giving expired medicine
In case of expired medicine in the medicine kit, action will also be taken by the Sadar Hospital Management on the concerned officer. It was told by the management that some kits were old, which contained a drug named Livosem-M. Such kits have not been distributed to home isolated patients. The kits that have been distributed to home-isolated patients from today do not contain this medicine. If there is a medicine by mistake, then the patient should not take it. SDO Bundu Ajay Kumar said that after investigation in this matter, action will be taken against the guilty.
In view of the increasing cases of corona infection, permission has been given to stay in home isolation. Corona kits are being distributed to them under the supervision of the Incident Commander. Apart from medicine, sanitizer and mask were also given in the kit. But the anti-allergy drug Levosel-M given in the kit had expired on November 11, 2021.
