Uddhav’s health and Shiv Sena’s concern

Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s health is not good. He had a spinal surgery last month. He has not returned to work even a month after being discharged from the hospital. A temporary hospital has been built in his house itself and the Chief Minister’s Office is also functioning from there. But now serious questions are being raised about his health. Due to his ill health, the winter session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly was not held in Mumbai as per tradition, but he did not attend the proceedings of Wednesday on the first day. A question arose in the assembly regarding this. Wednesday itself was the last day of the winter session of Parliament and after the proceedings were over, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to Shiv Sena MP Vinayak Raut and inquired about the health of Uddhav Thackeray. On the other hand, in the assembly, BJP state president Chandrakant Patil raised the question of Uddhav Thackeray’s health and said that if his health is not good then why does the party not hand over the chief minister’s post to his son Aditya Thackeray or someone else. By any other he meant Rashmi Thackeray, wife of Uddhav Thackeray, who is said to be very active in politics and government work. The difficulty is whether NCP and Congress veterans will accept Aditya or Rashmi Thackeray as an alternative? There is also a big question, is Uddhav Thackeray’s health so bad that he will not return to work for a long time? However, Shiv Sena leaders in Delhi say that such a situation is not there and if such a situation will happen, then Uddhav is able to agree on one or the other name.
