According to the information given, the winner of the World Test Championship final between India and Australia will get $ 1.6 million as prize money, while the runner-up will be given $ 8 million. There is no change in the prize money for the previous edition of WTC. Last time New Zealand also got 1.6 million dollars. New Zealand won the final match of the World Test Championship by defeating India.
Other teams will also get prize money
All nine teams will get a share of the total prize money of $3.8 million for the World Test Championship. South Africa will get $450,000 for finishing third in 2021-23. England will get $350,000 for finishing fourth. Sri Lanka will be given $200,000 for finishing fifth. The rest of the teams will get $100,000 each. Apart from Pakistan, Bangladesh, West Indies and New Zealand will also get one lakh dollars each.
