Azamgarh | UP Election SP MLA : The round of rhetoric continues before the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections. Due to the statements, the stir in the political corridors has become so intense that now the tongues of the leaders are slipping. One such case has come to the fore from Azamgarh, which is said to be a stronghold of the Samajwadi Party. The tongue of Durga Prasad Yadav, Sadar MLA of Azamgarh district and former minister, slipped during a public relations visit. While talking to the media, the former minister said that he will uproot the Samajwadi Party from here. However, soon after that he realized the mistake and said that he was talking about the Bharatiya Janata Party, not the Samajwadi Party.
SP’s veteran leaders are counted
UP Election SP MLA : Please tell that Durga Prasad Yadav is counted among the veteran leaders of the Samajwadi Party. For the first time in 1985 also came as an independent. But after that in 1996, he joined the Samajwadi Party and continued to get elected till 1996, 2002, 2007, 2012 and 2017. In Akhilesh Yadav’s government, Durga Prasad Yadav was also made Minister for Transport, Stamp Registration, Registration and Forest. He also has a close relationship with Akhilesh Yadav. Akhilesh Yadav has been reaching the former minister’s house in any program.

UP Election SP MLA : The Bharatiya Janata Party has also taken a jibe at the slipping of Sadar MLA and former minister Durga Prasad Yadav. Many BJP leaders tweeted his statement saying that only the leaders of the Samajwadi Party have started speaking the truth. On the other hand, former minister Durga Prasad Yadav immediately took a U-turn for his statement. He clearly said that he was not talking about the SP but the BJP.
