Australia’s star opener David Warner is tired ahead of the upcoming four-Test series against India starting February 9 in Nagpur. Warner (36 years old) played in a number of formats in a busy summer schedule which included ODI series against Zimbabwe, New Zealand, England, West Indies and South Africa. Warner played in the T20 World Cup as well as playing for Sydney Thunders in the Big Bash League. Also played in half a dozen matches. Warner told ‘Cricbuzz’, “It is very challenging.” I am very tired. ,
He said, “Some players have gone to the UAE (United Arab Emirates) league but are not attending Cricket Australia’s award ceremony. But if you talk about me, it would have been nice to stay at home with the family for one more night. But it is not in your hands. Warner returned from poor form by scoring a double century in his 100th Test. He looked in good form during his 20-ball 36 not out for Sydney Thunders. He said, “I am trying to bring some energy to the Thunders team. But this year it has not been good. But I hope that next year I will play more fresh than now.
