Nice. Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcarez continued his impressive run with a 6-3, 6-7(6) 10-5 win over Croatian world number 15 Borna Coric in the Hopman Cup tennis tournament. Spain’s top-ranked Alcarez defeated Novak Djokovic in a hard-fought five-set match in the Wimbledon final. He saved two break points in the match played against Korich on Saturday.

It was Alcarez’s second win in a row. He defeated David Goffin of Belgium on Friday. Alcarez also played a doubles match with Rebecca Masarova but lost 1-6, 6-4, 14-12 to Coric and Donna Vekic.
