World Cup 2023 may be held in Raipur, these teams are likely to clash

The ICC World Cup 2023 is about to begin in India in a few months. This World Cup to be held in the year 2023 is going to be organized in different cities of India. Now information has come to the fore that a match of this Mahakumbh of cricket can also be organized in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.

 

In this regard, the officials of the Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association have approached the BCCI. BCCI and ICC will consider the matter whether the match can be organized in Raipur as well or not. However, no information has been revealed in this regard. It is believed that a match of the World Cup can be played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur. In fact, the officials of Chhattisgarh State Cricket Association say that all the facilities are available in the cricket stadium of Raipur. In such a situation, if Raipur gets to host the World Cup match, it would be great.

 

The World Cup 2023 is likely to be held from October 5 to November 19. ICC and BCCI have made complete preparations for organizing this World Cup. Although the dates of the World Cup have not been officially announced yet. The final match of this World Cup will be held in the month of November. The matches of this World Cup will be held in different cities of India. There is a possibility that matches of this world will be played in cities like Nagpur, Bengaluru, Trivandrum, Mumbai, Delhi, Lucknow, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Rajkot, Indore, Bangalore, Dharamshala etc.

 

Please tell that many matches have been played in Raipur so far. In the year 2013, this stadium of Raipur has hosted two IPL matches. Apart from this, T20 Challenger Trophy has been played in the year 2014 in this stadium of Raipur. IPL for the second time in 2015, Ranji Trophy matches continuously since 2016, Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy matches. BCCI also organizes many domestic matches in this stadium of Raipur.
