The final of the World Test Championship (WTC) between India and Australia began at The Oval today. India won the toss and elected to bowl first while top off-spinner Ravi Ashwin could not get a chance in the Rohit Sharma-led side. Indian captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to field in the final of the World Test Championship (WTC) against Australia here on Wednesday. India have decided to go with four fast bowlers in this match, due to which off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has not found a place in the playing XI. Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, Umesh Yadav and all-rounder Shardul Thakur will play the role of fast bowlers while all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is the only spinner in the playing XI. Australia has also given a chance to fast bowler Scott Boland in this match.
