Boca: Agustín Rossi is in the sights of Barcelona from Spain
Agustín Rossi, Boca Juniors’ starting goalkeeper, was offered to FC Barcelona before the possible loss of the Brazilian Neto, the Catalan press revealed on Monday.
The newspaper Sport publishes that the Argentine is one of the possibilities on the table if the departure of the substitute goalkeeper of the German Marc Ter-Stegen materializes, either in the current market or in the following European summer, in the middle of the year.
«Barça is attentive to the transfer market in all positions. One of them is the goal and, given the more than likely departure of Neto during this transfer market or the summer one, from Argentina they have offered Boca’s starting goalkeeper to stop at the Camp Nou: Agustín Rossi, “says the sports newspaper .
Rossi, 26, recently faced the “Blaugrana” team in the friendly that Boca won on penalties (4-2) after drawing 1-1 in 90 minutes at the Mrsool Park stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
However, Sport clarifies that “the operation would not be easy to carry out because the player would occupy a non-EU position and this reduces the possibilities.”

Rossi, with a contract at Boca until the end of 2023, started at Chacarita Juniors and also defended the goal of Estudiantes de La Plata, Defensa y Justicia, Antofagasta de Chile and Lanús.
The last Argentine goalkeeper to occupy the Barcelona fence was Roberto Bonano, who played 75 official matches in the 2002-03 and 2003-04 seasons.
