Delhi: Resident doctors announce nationwide strike, health services may be affected

New Delhi | Doctor Strike: The risk of health services collapsing has increased amidst the increasing outbreak of Corona infection and Omicron infection in the country. Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) Has announced a nationwide strike from tomorrow i.e. on 29th December at 8 am. The association has called for a complete shutdown of all health services across the country. The Federation of Resident Doctors Association has been protesting for the past several days.

Resident Doctor Protest over delay in NEET-PG 2021 counseling
A large number of resident doctors in Delhi are protesting over the delay in the NEET-PG 2021 counseling. During their protest on Monday, there was a fierce clash between the police and the doctors on the streets. In which both the parties have leveled many allegations against each other. FIMA has accused the Delhi Police that it is going on strike because of this cruel attitude of Delhi Police.

Heated atmosphere, both sides made allegations
The matter has become very heated in Delhi due to the clash between doctors and police yesterday. In this case, doctors say that when they tried to take out a march from Safdarjung Hospital to the official residence of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya, the police detained a large number of protesters. At the same time, the police say that for 8 hours, the protesters created a ruckus by jamming the ITO road. Repeated requests were made to leave from there, but they did not agree. In such a situation, 12 protesters were detained by the police and later released.
