Guaraní Antonio Franco beat Victoria de Curuzú Cuatiá de Corrientes 2-0 this afternoon/night at the Clemente Argentino de Fernández Olivera stadium and advanced to the semifinals of group 1 of the North Coast zone where they will face another team from the neighboring province.

In the first leg of the quarterfinals, the Strip had won 1-0 and in the second leg they once again weighed in on their hierarchy thanks to goals from Ronald Valbuena, who opened the scoring with a goal against in the 10th minute of the first half, and by Ignacio Valsangiacomo at 29´.

For the local it was a kind of revenge due to the fact that in the previous edition of the tournament those from Corrientes had left them out (along with Atlético Posadas) from the contest.

Now, Alianza San Jorge de Corrientes will be the next rival of the cast of Tierra Colorada.
