Yogi Govt New Order Issued: According to the order of the government, now meat will not be sold anywhere on the birth anniversary of great men and on Shivratri. On the birth anniversary of great men (Mahavir Jayanti, Buddha Jayanti, Gandhi Jayanti, Shivratri and the birth anniversary of Sadhu TL Vaswani), meat shops will be closed in urban bodies besides slaughterhouses.

Even before this, the Yogi government had banned the sale of meat in the open, tightening the noose on the illegal slaughter house.
