Kolkata | PM Modi On Vaccination: Governments are pushing for an anti-corona vaccine across the country amid fears of a third wave of corona. Talking on this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Friday that we have fought a fight against Corona. He said that India has achieved a historic milestone by giving 150 crore doses of anti-epidemic vaccine to its citizens and it is no less than a surprise for most of the big countries of the world. Let us inform that PM Modi inaugurated the second campus of Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute (CNCI) in Kolkata through video conference. After this, he said the above things during his address.

Achievement is a symbol of the strength of 130 crore people of the country
PM Modi On Vaccination: PM Modi said that this achievement is a symbol of the capability of 130 crore people of the country. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya and many Union ministers and leaders were present during this program. The complex has been constructed at a cost of Rs 530 crore. In this, the central government has given about Rs 400 crore while the West Bengal government spent the remaining amount.

Comprehensive cancer unit with 460 beds ready in the campus
PM Modi On Vaccination: The new campus will have a comprehensive cancer unit with 460 beds which will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The campus will also serve as a state-of-the-art center for cancer research. The PM said that with the inauguration of the new campus of the hospital, we have taken another step in the direction of taking forward our resolve to provide quality healthcare to every citizen of the country. This complex has brought convenience to many citizens of West Bengal. This will bring a lot of relief especially to the poor, middle class families who have someone battling their cancer.
