PM Modi will inaugurate 11 thousand crore hydroelectric projects in the Himalayan region today

New Delhi | PM Modi in Himachal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will reach Mandi in Himachal Pradesh today to shower gifts. PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of hydroelectric projects worth over Rs 11,000 crore in Mandi. Along with this, during his visit, PM Modi will also lay the foundation stone of Renukaji Dam project. This project, pending for three decades, was made possible by the Prime Minister’s vision of cooperative federalism.

PM to preside over Global Investors Meet
PM Modi in Himachal: According to the information, PM Modi will reach Mandi on Monday at around 12 noon. PM Modi will also preside over the second ground breaking ceremony of Himachal Pradesh Global Investors Meet. PM Luhri will lay the foundation stone of the first phase hydroelectric project. The 210 MW project will be constructed at a cost of over Rs 1800 crore. Due to which more than 750 million units of electricity will be produced every year. PM Modi has been consistently emphasizing on fully utilizing the untapped potential of the available resources in the country. Taking this step forward, it is considered an important step of PM Modi to make maximum use of hydroelectric potential in the Himalayan region.

PM Modi will inaugurate Kanpur Metro on Tuesday
PM Modi will also give a gift to Kanpur of UP on Tuesday, 28 December. PM will arrive to inaugurate the completed section of Kanpur Metro Rail Project and Bina-Panki Multiproduct Pipeline Project. Apart from this, PM Modi will also address the 54th convocation of Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur.
