New Delhi | PM Security Lapse Case: The issue of Prime Minister’s security lapse is gaining momentum. BJP leaders do not want to let the matter cool down. A group of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MPs on Friday demonstrated near the statue of the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in the Parliament House complex over the issue of security lapses in Congress-ruled Punjab. Some other MPs, including Locket Chatterjee and Rajendra Agarwal, raised slogans against the Congress and demanded that the Punjab government apologize for the lapse in the security of the Prime Minister. There were also posters and banners in the hands of BJP leaders with anti-Congress and Punjab government slogans. BJP MPs got to see something similar in Delhi too.

PM Modi was trapped for 20 minutes
PM Security Lapse Case: Let us tell you that there was an incident of serious lapse in the security of Prime Minister Modi who went to Punjab on Wednesday. When some protesters in Firozpur blocked the road through which they were to pass. Because of this, the Prime Minister was stuck on a flyover for about 20 minutes. After the incident, the Prime Minister returned to Delhi without attending any program.

Central government sought report
PM Security Lapse Case: The central government has blamed the Congress government of Punjab for this incident and has called for a report from it. However, Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has claimed that adequate arrangements were made for the Prime Minister’s security. He says that solid arrangements were made for the security of PM Modi, but due to choosing the road route instead of the air route, all the problems have happened.
