Students protest against iftar in BHU campus, administration termed the uproar as reprehensible

After this incident, on Thursday, students created a ruckus on the walls of the university campus when controversial slogans regarding Brahmin caste and Kashmir were written. These slogans were written in the name of ‘Bhagat Singh Chhatra Morcha’. Seeing the anger of the students, the university administration got the controversial slogans erased. Chief Proctor Kapri, who reached the spot, said, “It has been written to spoil the atmosphere of the university but we will not allow it to happen.” About the organization written under the slogans, Kapri said, The name of Bhagat Singh student organization has been written, its people have been identified by the university administration. On the other hand, Bhagat Singh Chhatra Morcha issued a statement in this regard and said, “Bhagat Singh Chhatra Morcha (BCM) has nothing to do with such slogans.
