Sukant and three other Indians in singles final of Peru Para Badminton International
Four Indian badminton players, including Sukant Kadam, entered the singles finals of the ongoing Peru Para Badminton International tournament in Lima. Nitya Sre Sumati Sivan (SH6), Mandeep Kaur (SL3) and Nehal Gupta (SL3) also made it to the finals of their sections on SaturdayWorld No. 3 Sukant defeated Guatemala’s Raul Anguiano 21-10 21-12 in a one-sided semi-final.He will now face Singapore’s Chee Heong Ank in the final.

Sukant has defeated Chi in the last two encounters. Nithya defeated Poland’s Olivia Szmigel 21-17 21-7 while Mandeep defeated compatriot Parul Parmar 23-21 21-12 and Nehal defeated another Indian Umesh Vikram Kumar 21-6 21-23 21-9. . Men’s doubles pair of Nehal Gupta and Breno Johan (SL3-SL4) and women’s doubles pair of Parul Parmar and Vaishali Nilesh Patel (SL3-SU5) also reached the finals.
